                  MY  MINNEBAGO

There’s some rich folk, and Australia they trace.

Whilst poor me ambles along in my Toyota Hi-Ace.

Their beautiful motorhomes  are made by “ Winnebago”,

And my old van, I’ve aptly named “Minnebago”.

Now this here “Minne” rig- she don’t have no fancy flushing loo,

It’s just a bucket – that’s got to do.

At any time you can just go to bed and read,

But first I must assemble the bed, before I partake in this deed.

Bottled wine you drink, such an easy task.

I too do this – but it’s poured from a cask.

Now ‘Winne” you have every luxury, and some to spare,

But when you stop to camp, just like ‘Minne” your chair goes in the open air.

But “Winne” just remember whilst your filling your tank,

“Minne”s “ money is staying in the bank.

Now “Winne”- what your seen of the wild blue yonder,

“Minne” has seen too, its just taken a little longer.

If it’s a “Winne” you drive from the upper class,

Poor “Minne” asks, please smile and wave as you pass.

Now don’t forget :Winne” as you pass me by, wave and smile,

Because wherever you go, “Minne” too will be there in a little while
